Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By engaging AMRIX Group Pty Ltd (ABN 20 693 581 029) for renovation, building, or carpentry services, you agree to these terms. A formal project agreement will be provided and must be signed before work commences.

2. Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotes are provided in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
  • Quotes are based on the scope of work discussed during consultation. Any variations or additional work requested will be quoted separately and require written approval before proceeding
  • Prices include GST unless explicitly stated otherwise

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 10-30% (depending on project scope) is required before work commences
  • Progress payments are invoiced at agreed project milestones
  • Final payment is due upon project completion and final walkthrough
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or approved payment plan
  • Overdue invoices may incur a late fee of 2% per month

4. Project Timeline

We provide estimated completion dates in good faith. Timelines may be affected by factors including material availability, weather conditions, council approvals, and client-requested changes. We will communicate any anticipated delays promptly.

5. Warranties

  • All structural work carries a 6-year warranty as required under NSW Home Building Act 1989
  • Non-structural work carries a 2-year warranty
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to all fixtures, appliances, and materials installed
  • Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing clear access to the work area, obtaining necessary council approvals (unless included in scope), making timely decisions on material selections, and ensuring payment schedules are met.

7. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel after work has commenced, you are responsible for payment of all work completed to date, materials ordered or purchased, and any reasonable cancellation costs. See our Refund Policy for details.

8. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to mediation before any legal proceedings. NSW law applies.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the contracted work. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our services.
